Justin Barragan

Mr. Barragan is a Director and founding member of Novus Merchant Partners, a Toronto-based merchant bank. He has extensive experience in investment banking, merchant banking and principal investing and has advised public and private companies on financing and mergers and acquisitions transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $750 million. His transaction experience spans a broad range of sectors, including diversified industries, natural resources, real estate and technology.
Mark Haywood

Mr. Haywood has over 25 years of mining industry experience and holds degrees in both Mining Engineering and Law. Mr. Haywood has held progressive career positions with Anglo Gold Ashanti, Goldfields, IAMGold, Ivanhoe, BHP and Placer Pacific at various open-pit and underground mining operations around the world, including leadership positions of Chief Mining Engineer, Mine Manager, and General Manager. He has also been a consultant mining engineer on the successful feasibility of the large Century Zinc Mine (Zn/Pb/Ag) in Australia. Mr. Haywood has held President & CEO and directorship positions with a number of public (TSX and TSX.V) and private Canadian corporations since 2008.
Eugene Chen

Mr. Chen is a corporate and securities lawyer with over 25 years experience applying his expertise across broad sectors including mineral exploration. He currently leads the Capital Markets, Securities and M&A Group at McLeod Law LLP in Calgary providing strategic counsel on initial public offerings, private placements, take-over bids, stock exchange listings and regulatory compliance. He has been counsel and advised on numerous financing and M&A transactions in the mining sector involving properties throughout North America, South America and Africa and is currently a director of Fathom Nickel Inc. (CSE: FNI), a critical mineral focused mining exploration company with properties located in Saskatchewan.
Mark Van Remortel

Mr. Van Remortel is the Chief Executive Officer and Ultimate Designated Person of Kernaghan & Partners Ltd., a CIRO-registered investment dealer, where he has worked for the past 10 years. He previously held management positions with other investment dealers, including Union Securities and MGI Securities, and has more than 16 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to entering the investment industry, Mr. Van Remortel owned and operated his family’s international business. He studied business at York University in Toronto.
Manish Grigo

Mr. Grigo has more than 20 years of capital markets experience, including as a research analyst covering technology and special situations. Since 2020, he has worked directly with mining companies in corporate development roles, strengthening their capital markets profiles, executing equity financings and supporting M&A initiatives. He has also advised companies across the mining, technology, gaming and fintech sectors on capital markets strategy and has been involved in equity and debt financings totaling more than $1 billion. Mr. Grigo holds an MBA in Finance from Cardiff University and a B.Com. (Honours) from Delhi University and has completed the CFA Program.
